ESPN's David Schoenfield recently compared six MLB teams to the Golden State Warriors, who have won two of the past three NBA championships while breaking the single-season wins record along the way.

According to Schoenfield's metrics, the Washington Nationals most closely resemble the Dubs. But several other teams make strong cases for the honor as well.

The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox have renewed their big-money rivalry in the AL East this season. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros own the best records in each league. Meanwhile, the Chicago Cubs still hold the World Series trophy.
