NEW YORK (WABC) -- A bus accident on the RFK Bridge Friday afternoon left at least 16 people injured.
The accident happened at about 2 p.m. on the Manhattan side of the bridge as the charter bus was heading for Queens. The bus hit an abutment between toll lanes.
36 passengers asked to be seen by EMS. All the injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
Two people were sent to the hospital, one with neck and pain and the other with chest pains.
The MTA is sending a bus to pick up the passengers. There is no word yet on the bus's destination.
