2 people hurt in crash at Bronx intersection; light pole knocked down
Lucy Yang has the latest details from the Bronx.

BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in the Bronx.

The incident happened just after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Webster Avenue and East 167th Street in the Morrisania section of the borough.

Video from NewsCopter 7 shows a light pole knocked down after an SUV apparently struck it. A traffic light is also on the ground.

Sources told Eyewitness News that a woman was struck by the SUV while crossing the street. The woman was taken to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition. The driver of the SUV was taken to the same hospital in serious condition.

Police are trying to determine how the crash happened.
