LIE crash kills 1, injures 2

ISLANDIA, N.Y. (WABC) -- The Long Island Expressway was at a standstill for hours Wednesday night following a deadly crash.

It happened just after 4 p.m. near Exit 57 in Islandia.

A woman was traveling with two passengers when she collided with another vehicle.

The woman died, and her two passengers were rushed to the hospital, one with serious injuries.

The roads have since reopened.
