NEW YORK (WABC) -- Tens of thousands of subway commuters will experience a little longer commute over the next several weeks as repairs are made to four train lines.
The MTA said work will be done on the E, F, M and R lines from Aug. 17 through Sept. 4. The affected times are during rush hour.
Here's a breakdown of each line's service change:
6:30 AM to 9:30 AM (M-F)

- Expect less frequent service
- No trains to/from Jamaica-179 St (Use the F instead; transfer between trains at Union Tpke)

3:30 PM to 10 PM (M-F)
- Some Jamaica Center-bound trains run local from Queens Plaza to Jamaica-Van Wyck
