Video captures shooting in Brooklyn bodega that left 3 wounded
Tim Fleischer reports on a shooting in a bodega in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, that left three people wounded.

WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are investigating a shooting inside a Brooklyn bodega late Tuesday night that left three people wounded.

Police say it happened at D & G Deli on Division Avenue in Williamsburg.

Surveillance video showed an 18-year-old in a red hoodie arguing with two men, then gunfire erupted.

The 18-year-old, Jordan Byrdsell, was shot several times as others in the store ran for cover.

Eyewitness News has learned that Byrdsell was apparently the intended target but police want to know why.

He is seen being approached by two men in black jackets and clearly words are exchanged. One man is then seen shooting Jordan. The second man pulls a weapon and fires as the teen falls to the floor.

He was shot in the chest and according to friends was in surgery at Bellevue Hospital.

Also shot - grazed in the back - was 46-year-old Audrey Triplett and 58-year-old Jeffrey Mattiex, who was shot in the arm.

Residents in the neighborhood were not surprised. "I used to go into the store but I stopped," said resident Moshe Wertheimer. "I'm not going to because I'm afraid."

Inside the deli, bullet holes pierced and shattered the glass doors on two beverage cases just before the two suspects fled the store.
