ACCUWEATHER: Heat wave continues Friday

NEW YORK (WABC) -- The heat is on! Temperatures in the Tri-State area soaring above 90 degrees again Friday.

A heat advisory is in effect through 6 p.m. Friday, with hot and humid conditions and a high temperature of 92.

The 90-degree weather will feel more like 95 to 100 in some areas during the afternoon, according to AccuWeather.

The heat wave is expected to last into Saturday, when the high will reach 90. There is a chance of thunderstorms for Saturday night.

N.J. Burkett reports on the workers with physcially demanding jobs who work outside no matter the temperature.

During the extreme heat, it is important to stay hydrated.
