PHOTOS: Hurricane Maria pummels the Caribbean

Hurricane Maria smashed into eastern Caribbean islands Tuesday making landfall in Dominica with 160 mph winds. The islands prime minister described devastating damage as winds and rain from the storm also hit territories still reeling from Irma.
