Aly Elsawah was sitting on a bench, when the suspect plowed into a deliveryman at the intersection of 72nd Street and 3rd Avenue.
"He didn't even stop, he kept going, and he hit the guy and comes this way and goes over the sidewalk," Elsawah said.
Elsawah said he scooched out of the way and yelled to a friend who was walking on the sidewalk so he could dive onto the sidewalk to avoid the truck.
