WASHINGTON, New York (WABC) -- A FedEx deliveryman is accused of raping at least two teenagers inside his company truck.

Police say 30-year-old Poughkeepsie resident Joshua Ginyard befriended a group of friends under the age of 17 while on his route in Dutchess County.

Police say over the course of a few weeks, Ginyard sexually abused the teens.

He was initially arrested on August 17 for allegedly sending two minors sexually explicit text messages.

As the investigation unfolded Ginyard was charged Monday with two counts of rape, two counts of criminal sexual act and forcible touching.

Additional charges are pending.

FedEx released a statement on Wednesday saying that the employee has since been let go.

"FedEx Ground is appalled by these disturbing reports and will cooperate fully with law enforcement during their investigation. The individual arrested no longer provides service on behalf of FedEx Ground."

Investigators are asking that any additional victims come forward.
