21-year-old man dies after being shot in Belmont, the Bronx

BELMONT, The Bronx (WABC) -- An investigation is underway after a man shot to death in the Bronx on Monday.

The shooting happened in front of 413 East 187th St. in the Belmont section just before 7 p.m.

Police say a 21-year-old man was shot in the head at the location.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

He has not yet been identified.

No arrests have been made so far, and the investigation is ongoing.
