A 14-year-old boy, also on the scooter, was injured

HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- A 13-year-old boy riding a motor scooter was killed after colliding with another vehicle in Harlem on Thursday.
Police say the victim was on the scooter with a 14-year-old boy, traveling westbound on West 112th Street when it collided head on with a 2024 Chevy Tahoe, operated by a 63-year-old man.
The driver of the Tahoe had been making a left turn from Adam Clayton Boulevard onto West 112th Street.
The 13-year-old suffered a head injury and was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.
The 14-year-old suffered a leg injury and is stable.
The driver of the Tahoe remained at the scene. No charges have been filed so far.
