Hear from Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri and more as they set sail for "Percy Jackson" Season 2

Percy Jackson and friends are setting sail on a new adventure as the second season of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" splashes onto our screens. This time, they're tackling the sea of monsters!
In "On The Red Carpet Presents: Percy Jackson," go behind the scenes of Season 2 with stars Walker Scobell (Percy), Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth), Aryan Simhadri (Grover), Daniel Diemer (Tyson), Dior Goodjohn (Clarisse) and more!
Scobell and Simhardri tell us that the second season, which is now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu, is all about new beginnings.
"This is the first time that you see (Percy) really just take matters into his own hands and go and, you know, kind of go on his own journey in a way," said Scobell.
Simhadri echoed the same sentiment about his character, Grover, "We find him alone for the very first time, which is kind of a unique dynamic for him. He's never really been alone."
Also in the special, hear from the experts in the VFX and stunts departments. Plus, take a look inside the prop house, where you may learn a new fun fact about Percy's sword, Riptide!
"If I wasn't Annabeth, and I was like a fan watching the show and I walked onto the set, I literally would've cried," Jeffries told us about stepping onto the set of the chariot race, one of the most anticipated scenes in the season.

Along with a new season comes new characters. When it came to seeing himself as Tyson the cyclops, Diemer explained, "To kind of see it within the world and kind of getting all the emotion through was really special."
To get into the Season 2 spirit, we even accompanied Goodjohn onboard the Disney Destiny's maiden voyage. The ship's theme centers around heroes and villains, which Goodjohn knows all about.
"Okay, clock it. Luke is a villain. We have to settle this now. I know we have the Luke loyalists. I love my Luke loyalists; however, let's get serious. He's coming after Percy!" she explained about the main antagonist this season.
Since its debut in 2023, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" has taken the world by storm, and we've been there for it all! From their second season wardrobe wishlists, to their funny moments at San Diego Comic-Con, don't miss our favorite moments with the cast.
And it wouldn't be "Percy Jackson" without Rick Riordan, creator of the epic "Percy" franchise. We spoke with him and co-writer Mark Oshiro about their latest book series, "The Nico di Angelo Adventures," as we look onward to Season 3, where the di Angelo siblings make their debut.
"It started with a joke about where the Minotaur gets his underwear," Riordan explained about the inspiration for their latest novel in the "Nico di Angelo" series, "The Court of the Dead."
Speaking of the di Angelo siblings, we got to sit down with Levi Chrisopolus (Nico) and Olive Abercrombie (Bianca), who will star as the fan-favorite duo. They spoke about playing the iconic characters.
"So many people love it and have grown up with it and the characters, so you want to do justice," said Chrisopulos
Despite their nerves, Abercrombie explained, "I felt like I fit in, like, right away."
Saara Chaudry, who will star in Season 3 as Zoë Nightshade, is "in the same boat as everybody else, highly anticipating Season Two's release."
Season 2 of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" is now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. It is co-created by Jonathan E. Steinberg and executive produced by Dan Shotz and Craig Silverstein.
