THE BRONX, New York (WABC) -- A tree crashed into a No. 4 train subway car in the Bronx Saturday night, injuring the operator and suspending a portion of the line.
The northbound No. 4 train was approaching the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium station just before 8:30 p.m. when the tree came down, injuring the female train operator, according to the MTA.

The 38-year-old train operator was taken to the hospital where she is expected to recover.
The MTA said it appeared that the fallen tree damaged the train operator's cab.
At least 200 passengers were evacuated and offloaded to a train that pulled up right behind the stalled train. There are no other reports of injuries.
There is no 4 service in either direction between Woodlawn and 149 St-Grand Concourse.
