The TSA is considering letting some travelers bring bottles of water through security.
It’s part of the new TSA PreCheck lanes that are being introduced soon.
Officials say the lanes will have new technology, including facial comparison, which will allow you to go through without showing a boarding pass.
New technology will also include 3D luggage and body scanners.

The TSA also detailed its new Gateside program, which will allow people without a ticket to go through security to accompany family members or greet them at the gate when they land. It’s something that has not been allowed since September 11, 2001.
Both programs are expected to take about a year to be rolled out.
