Elderly woman assaulted in Queens home invasion
Police say thieves broke into a home in Cambria Heights and pushed an 83-year-old woman to the floor

CAMBRIA HEIGHTS, Queens (WABC) -- Police are on the hunt for two suspects behind the home invasion in Queens in which an elderly woman was assaulted.

Authorities say the men broke into the home on 223rd Street in Cambria Heights around 8 p.m. Friday, apparently through a back window.

The suspect reportedly claimed to have a gun before pushing the 83-year-old woman to the ground and ransacking the house.

The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry.

The victim refused medical attention.
