3 Comic legends inducted into Apollo Theater Walk of Fame

HARLEM, N.Y. (WABC) -- Three legendary comedians are the newest inductees into the Apollo Theater Walk of Fame.

Comedic icons Richard Pryor, Moms Mabley and Redd Foxx were honored during a special ceremony outside the theater in Harlem Thursday night.

It's the first time that non-musical artists have been inducted into the Apollo Walk of Fame.

All three legends had a longstanding relationship with the Apollo.

As it honored the comedians, the Apollo also launched a new comedy series at the theater.
