PELHAM BAY (WABC) -- After weeks of living without heat or hot water, the heat is back on for residents of an apartment building in the Bronx.

The heat was turned on Wednesday night as Eyewitness News was investigating the story and talking with residents at the "Simply Better Apartment Homes" in Pelham Bay.

Tenants are furious and fed up.

They tell us it's common for the utilities to come on and off.

The building's super says the boiler broke and it's being fixed and he's asking tenants to be patient.

Some residents are threatening to stop paying rent.
