Vigil in Queens for victims of Bangladesh terror attack
Bill Ritter has the story.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens (WABC) -- Diversity Plaza in Jackson Heights was the scene of a vigil on Tuesday night to honor the victims of last weekend's restaurant siege in Bangladesh.

Mourners gathered at the Queens pedestrian plaza to remember the 22 victims, including 20 hostages and two police officers, that were killed in an upscale restaurant in the capital of Dhaka.

Three of the victims were students at American Universities.

Six of the attackers were killed, with an additional attacker captured alive.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Bangladeshi government insists the attack was carried out by homegrown militants.
