3 Suffolk County residents arrested in series of residential burglaries

NORTH LINDENHURST (WABC) -- Suffolk County police arrested three people for allegedly committing a series of residential burglaries in North Lindenhurst over the past two months.

Officers arrested the suspects after observing them attempting to enter a residence on Farmers Avenue on Monday.

David Vanbourgondien, 30, was charged with 11 counts of second-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree attempted burglary.

Daniel Tarantino, 30, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree attempted burglary and criminal possession of stolen property.

Gina Giardinello, 26, was charged with two counts of second-degree attempted burglary.

All three suspects are also from North Lindenhurst.

Vanbourgondien and Tarantino are being held at the First Precinct, while Giardinello is being held at the Fourth Precinct.
