Burglar caught on camera stealing jewelry on Upper East Side

UPPER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- Police on the Upper East Side are searching for a burglar who was caught on camera stealing jewelry worth several thousand dollars.

On Saturday, July 4th at 4 p.m., the suspect entered 444 East 86 Street and, once inside the building, was able to gain entry into three separate apartments and remove jewelry from each one.

The suspect then fled the building.
