Child, adult struck by vehicle in Brooklyn, police say

DYKER HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WABC) -- A child and an adult have been rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Brooklyn, police said.

The accident happened at 67th Street and 11th Avenue in the Dyker Heights section shortly before 11 a.m.

The injuries to the pedestrians were described as minor. They were taken to Lutheran Hospital.

The driver stayed at the scene and officials say there doesn't appear to be any criminality at this time.
