Food truck crash causes mess on Staten Island
Toni Yates has the story of a food truck that crashed into poles and knocked out power in a Staten Island neighborhood early Monday.

MARINERS HARBOR (WABC) -- Dozens of homes are without power after a food truck hit several utility poles early Monday on Staten Island.

The force of the crash knocked down wires onto Morningstar Road in the Mariners Harbor section.

At least two poles have been toppled, sending wires onto the street.

Police have the street blocked off. Over 70 customers had their power knocked out.

The power lines fell onto the food cart, which had propane tanks on board for cooking. The FDNY removed the tanks.

Con Ed crews are on the scene to repair the damage. There is no word on when power will be restored.
