Girl, 12, sexually attacked while walking dog in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are on the lookout for a man who sexually abused a young girl in Brooklyn.

It happened Wednesday night in the Cypress Hills section as the 12-year old girl was walking her dog in the vicinity of Arlington Avenue and Hale Avenue.

Investigators say he grabbed her from behind, kissed her on the cheek and sexually abused her before running off.

The girl was not hurt.

Police have released a photo of the suspect, who is described as being a 18-24 year old white male approximately 6'0" tall.
