NEW BRIGHTON (WABC) -- A man was found dead in front of a Staten Island bar that appears in the TV reality series "Mob Wives."

The fatal blow happened right outside the Drunken Monkey on Forest Avenue in New Brighton. The bar, which is regularly featured on the reality show is now the scene of a real-life death.

Eyewitness News is told the bouncer kicked out three men during the overnight hours for being too rowdy after some kind of fight erupted outside.

A 46-year-old man who is said to be a regular may have tried to help, however in doing so, police believe he was punched once and then fell. The man died after smacking his head hard on the ground. No other weapons are said to be involved.

Angela Raiola, known as "Big Ang", who stars in Mob Wives, is related to the owner. On Saturday, she tweeted about the victim, "He was not just a customer, but a gentle giant that I loved."

The victim was already unconscious and unresponsive when help arrived.

Police are on the lookout for three men who fled in a black vehicle.
