BROOKLYN, N.Y (WABC) -- A Brooklyn mother is telling her story after she said she was sexually assaulted by an FDNY EMT while in the back of an ambulance.

She asked that we not identify her but she felt compelled to tell her story for fearing silence would lead to more victims.

It is not the first time the woman has been rushed to the hospital during a seizure. Like in the past, she said when two FDNY emergency medical workers arrived at her Bed Sty apartment last Saturday, she was shaking and unable to speak but she was conscious.

Reporter: "These are partial seizures, you are awake?"

Alleged victim: "Yes, I saw everything he did, I heard him when he called my name twice."

Reporter: "You were aware of what was going on?"

Alleged victim: "Well aware of what was going on."

She was quickly placed in the ambulance. She said one EMS worker stayed with her while the other waited outside for Advanced Life Support to arrive.

"His partner goes outside. As soon as that man closed the door, he pulls my blouse up, then he takes his hand and his right hand and puts it in my panties and stuck his finger in my private area," she said.

As soon as she got to the hospital, she told her mother. Soon after, an FDNY Supervisor arrived at Kingsbrook Hospital to interview her about the alleged sexual assault. On Wednesday, she spoke with investigators of the NYPD Special Victims Unit.

She asked that we not identify her but she felt compelled to tell her story for fearing silence would lead to more victims.

"Anyone who does that to people there's something wrong with them, and he's going to continue to do it," said the woman.

Reporter: "You think it's likely he's done this before?"

Alleged victim: "Yes!"

The Investigators at Eyewitness News confirmed that the EMT in question and his partner have been placed on "restricted duty," having NO contact with patients while the FDNY, police and Department of Investigation look into the woman's rape allegation.

Reporter: "Tell me why you decided to do this."

Alleged victim: "I want him to pay for what he did." You don't do that people, you don't do that. And that has weighed heavy on my mind ever since that happened, ever since that heavy, it's weighed heavy on my mind," the woman said.

We've been told that police are looking at surveillance tape to see if it can shed any light on whether she was ever alone with one of the EMTs and, if so, for how long.

The EMT crew will remain on restricted duty until the investigations are completed.
