Raw video shows a crash scene in Queens involving an apparent wrong-way driver.

AUBURNDALE, N.Y. (WABC) -- The driver of a truck died when he apparently had a medical issue in Queens, causing him to drive across to the wrong side of the road.

The call came in to 911 at 6:39 a.m. Monday. The crash happened on Francis Lewis Boulevard between 49th and 50th avenues in the Auburndale section of Queens.

Police told Eyewitness News that the driver of the box truck traveling north on Francis Lewis Boulevard when he crossed over the median into the southbound lanes and struck three parked cars.

One of the cars was severely crushed and under the front end of the truck.

Officers at the scene told Reporter Kala Rama that the driver of box truck had medical episode, likely a heart attack, before crashing into the cars. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police identified the truck driver as 64-year-old Frederick Harris of Westminster, Maryland.

No one else was injured in the crash.
