LINDENHURST, Long Island (WABC) -- Police on Long Island know what kind of SUV they are looking for after a deadly hit-and-run.

Suffolk County Police released a photo of a white Nissan Xterra, similar to the one involved in a crash in Lindehurst last month.

54-year-old Pauline Aluska was crossing Montauk Highway when she was hit and killed.

Her brother was killed in a hit-and-run just a block away two years earlier, and her sister-in-law was killed by an out of control driver earlier this year.

Police are asking anyone with information about the accident to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
