HOUSTON -- Rockets center Dwight Howard hit an amazing shot over the weekend - one that challenged a world record...and also got the attention of the Harlem Globetrotters.

Howard hit a hit a backwards shot from the opposite free throw line that hit nothing but net. It was in the vicinity of the record held by Globetrotter Thunder Law.

That shot is now in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest backward shot. Law also holds the record for the world's longest shot ever.

The Harlem Globetrotters will be in Houston this weekend and challenged Howard to a game of H-O-R-S-E. Howard accepted.
