GREENBURGH, N.Y. (WABC) -- Tuesday marks three years of heartache for a family from Westchester County, after 20-year-old Indiana University student Lauren Spierer disappeared on June 3, 2011.

She was last seen during a night out near the school's Bloomington campus.

Police are still receiving tips about the Greenburgh native, with the most recent coming in last Thursday.

Investigators have received 282 tips about her in the past year alone, and they "remain hopeful that someone with knowledge of the circumstances surrounding Lauren's disappearance will do the right thing by stepping up and contacting (the) agency."

No criminal charges have ever been filed in the disappearance
