Eyewitness News meteorologists forecast that the worst is over for areas already hard-hit Tuesday afternoon, but the Tri-State area is not completely out of the woods yet, especially parts of South Jersey, which could get hit with another round of storms Tuesday night.

Tha system could produce damaging winds, hail, flooding downpours and an isolated tornado.

Forecasters say 1 to 2 inches of rain are possible, with isolated higher totals that could lead to scattered flash flooding.
