NEW YORK (WABC) -- The 2006 National League Championship Series against the St. Louis Cardinals was an epic back-and-forth battle that extended to Game 7 with a trip to the World Series on the line.

We all remember how that game ended, but before Carlos Beltran came to the plate with two outs and the bases loaded in the ninth inning, Endy Chavez made an amazing leaping catch in the top of the sixth inning to rob Scott Rolen of a home run and preserve a 1-1 tie.

Needless to say, the play sent the Shea Stadium crowd into a frenzy.
