3 arrested after 18-year-old killed in 'gang attack' in Hempstead

HEMPSTEAD, Long Island (WABC) -- Three people are under arrest for the murder of an 18-year-old in Hempstead.

A 20-year-old and 21-year-old are now in the custody of Nassau County Police. The third suspect is 17 years old.

Police say back in June, the group beat, kicked and stabbed the 18-year-old victim in a gang attack on 545 Fulton Ave.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say all three suspects entered the country illegally and have criminal histories.
