3 people injured after out-of-control car crashes in Nesconset

NESCONSET, Suffolk County (WABC) -- An out-of-control vehicle crashed into three people in Nesconset on Monday morning.

It happened on Townline Road and Terry Road at 6:45 a.m.

The car then crashed into a tree.

The three people, believed to be construction workers, and the driver are all being treated for injuries.

The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The driver was seen being placed into handcuffs and taken into police custody.

The crash is under investigation.
