70-year-old slashed in the neck in front of Hell's Kitchen taco shop

HELL'S KITCHEN, Manhattan (WABC) -- A 70-year-old man was slashed in the neck in Hell's Kitchen Sunday afternoon.

Police say he was attacked just before 3 p.m. on West 48th Street and Ninth Avenue outside a taco shop.

The attacker got away. There is no information yet on what preceded the attack.

The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
