2nd person dies after shooting during basketball game at Haffen Park in the Bronx
Police say 17-year-old Anthonaya Campbell was taken off life support and died on August 29
BAYCHESTER, The Bronx (WABC) -- A second person has died as a result of a mass shooting at a park in the Bronx last month.
On Wednesday, police announced that 17-year-old Anthonaya Campbell died from her injuries on August 29, six days after the shooting during a basketball tournament at Haffen Park.
She was taken off life support.
The shooting also killed 32-year-old Jaceil Banks, who was shot in the chest, and injured three other people.
Police arrested and charged four young men with murder.
Investigators believe the shooting was gang-related.
