1 person critically injured after 3 people shot in the Bronx; no arrests

BRONX, New York (WABC) -- Three men were rushed to the hospital, including one in critical condition, after they were found shot in the Bronx on Thursday, according to officials.

The three victims were on the sidewalk outside 549 Commonwealth Ave. between Lacombe and Randall avenues around 3:15 p.m. when a gunman opened fire from a car.

When officers arrived they found three men shot, including a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head, a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder and a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back.

They were taken Jacobi Hospital. The victim who was shot in the head is in critical condition, while the other two men are in stable condition, according to police.

A white SUV fled the scene. No arrests have been made.

The NYPD is investigating.
