Teen hospitalized after being shot in the chest and arm in Queens, police say

FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens (WABC) -- A 17-year-old was taken to the hospital after being shot in the chest and arm in Queens, police say.

It happened just before 9:30 p.m. on Beach 43rd Street and Beach Channel Drive in Edgemere.

The teen is expected to survive.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown.

No arrests have been made.
