Family reunites with retired Santa, rekindling memories of Christmas magic and joy

HERALD SQUARE, Manhattan (WABC) -- For so many families, visiting their neighborhood Santa is more than a rite of passage; it's a lifelong memory.

But when one local family found out their Santa retired, it took a Christmas miracle to track him down so they could say "thank you."

Eyewitness News spoke to Amy Wright and Gavin Gavilanes about the very special reunion with their Santa, Thomas Cahill.
