NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- The Rent Guidelines Board will hold their final vote Thursday on potential rent increases across the five boroughs.

The board set a range in May of zero to 2% hikes on one-year leases, and zero to 4% for two-year leases.

While rare and highly unlikely, a rent freeze is still on the table, which Mayor Zohran Mamdani campaigned on and is in favor of.

The final vote will take place at El Museo del Barrio in East Harlem. Tenant leaders with New York State Tenant Bloc and other housing groups plan to rally there before the vote.
