Man arrested after invading Jersey City kindergarten classroom

JERSEY CITY (WABC) -- A man intruded on a kindergarten class Friday morning leading to a school evacuation.

According to a statement from the Martin Center for the Arts in Jersey City, a man entered a portable classroom housing two kindergarten classes. Teachers evacuated the students to the main building.

Police responded, found the intruder in a bathroom and arrested him. No students were injured. Parents were notified.
