Kevin James tackles heartbreak and love in new rom-com 'Solo Mio,' just in time for Valentine's Day
NEW YORK (WABC) -- Valentine's Day is coming up and if you're in the mood for a good old fashioned rom-com, Kevin James has you covered.
He's the writer, producer, and star of the new movie "Solo Mio."
When you think of him, you probably think of comedy and now he is ushering in his rom-com era that feels like a throwback.
A mature rom-com if you will.
He sat down with Eyewitness News entertainment reporter Joelle Garguilo to talk all about it.
He plays "Matt" a heartbroken man who was left at the altar.
Matt decides to take his honeymoon to Rome alone and along the way get through his heartbreak to find peace, and even a new love.
"Solo Mio" hits theaters on Friday.
