Kids take to the hills of Eastchester park for sledding fun on snow day
EASTCHESTER, New York (WABC) -- In Westchester County, a snow day turned into a perfect winter adventure for kids in Eastchester.
Families headed to neighborhood hills for a day of sledding, snow angels, and friendly races.
Bundled up in bright jackets and mittens, kids flew down the slopes on plastic sleds and inflatable tubes, laughing as they tumbled into fresh powder.
Parents watched from the sidelines with hot cocoa in hand, happy to see the community come alive after the storm.
With schools closed on Monday and plenty of snow on the ground, Eastchester kids turned an unexpected day off into a simple, joyful winter tradition.
