BRONX (WABC) -- There's new information on the murder of a livery cab driver in the Bronx.
While police search for the killer, they are now trying to figure out if the case is connected to a crime spree in Westchester County.
It's understandable why Mohammed Slah was scared Tuesday morning.
Surveillance video from his store shows three masked gunmen bursting into the Irish Mini Mart on McLean Avenue.
A female customer outside was dragged inside by one suspect who ordered her down on the ground.
Slah, with his hands up, offers no resistance and then helps open the register which is promptly cleaned out.
Cells phones and wallets were also stolen.
Then 15 minutes later, the same three suspects hit a nearby Dunkin Donuts on Central Avenue, one gunman jumps over the counter to get to the register.
An employee who did not want to be identified says another co-worker told him to hide when the men ran in.
The getaway car in both robberies was a dark sedan which is why police are investigating a possible deadly link.
Around the same time in the Bronx, the body of a livery cab driver was found dumped in a desolate area near co-op city.
Maoudo Kane was shot in the back of the head and his cab was stolen.
Kane's widow and distraught relatives say the 49-year-old Senegalese immigrant had only been driving a cab for three months.
It's believed he picked up his killers as a street hail while working the overnight shift.
