Long Island mom returns home to find daughter duct taped to chair

ISLIP (WABC) -- Police are investigating a home invasion on Long Island after a woman called 911 to say she came home to find her 28-year-old daughter bound with duct tape.

The incident happened around 7 p.m. Monday on North Ocean Avenue in Islip.

The victim had been there for about two hours and suffered minor injuries.

Police searched the immediate area with a K-9 unit, but did not take anyone into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
