BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A 31-year-old woman is in critical condition after police say she was struck by an SUV that jumped a curb while she was walking with her three children in Bedford-Stuyvesant on Sunday night.

According to authorities, the crash happened around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Park and Nostrand avenues. Investigators say a Fisker Ocean TLC vehicle driven by a 39-year-old man was attempting to turn from westbound Park Avenue onto Nostrand Avenue when it sideswiped a gray Honda, mounted the curb and struck the woman before crashing into a fence.

The woman was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and was listed in critical condition. Police said the woman's three children were not injured but were also taken to Kings County Hospital.

The driver remained at the scene. No charges have been filed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
