New York Knicks 'Championship Way' sign up for auction
NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- The excitement over the NBA champion New York Knicks is not over.
Fans will have a chance to relive the fun and own a piece of history.
The city is auctioning off one of the "Champions Way" signs that hung along the Canyon of Heroes last month during the Knicks ticker tape parade.
Bidding started at $100, but it's already over $4,000.
You have until 8 p.m. on August 12 to place your bids online.
Money from the sale will go to the city's general fund, which pays for things like filling potholes and teachers' salaries.
