NJ health officials warn travelers of possible measles exposure at Newark Airport

NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- New Jersey health officials are warning travelers at Newark Liberty International Airport that they may have been exposed to measles.

Officials said a Hudson County resident was diagnosed after traveling out of the country.

This marks the first confirmed measles case in New Jersey so far this year.

The possible exposure happened April 14 at Terminal 8.

Officials also say people could have been exposed at the Hackensack University Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department between April 17 and 18.
