Opening night for free Shakespeare in the Park with 'Twelfth Night'
CENTRAL PARK (WABC) -- Thursday was the official opening night for the 2025 free Shakespeare in the Park returning to Delacorte Theater in Central Park.
"Twelfth Night" is part of the series' return to the newly-renovated venue.
The free production of "Twelfth Night" has been in previews for the past two weeks and will run until September 13.
The show features performances by big stars, including Peter Dinklage, Lupita Nyong'o, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Sandra Oh.
The renovation of the theater includes a new exterior enclosure made of reclaimed redwood from decommissioned water towers sourced from all of New York's five boroughs
