Anne Hathaway had some funny advice for this year's Oscars host Neil Patrick Harris: "Do the opposite of what I did."
The Oscar-winning actress recently commented to The New York Times about her much-maligned take as Oscars host alongside James Franco in 2011. "Do the opposite of what I did, and you'll be fine," Hathaway said.
When asked what she felt went wrong, Hathaway commented "I think it's so obvious that it doesn't even need to be identified."
However, Hathaway was confident in Harris' hosting abilities. "He'll be great. He's a natural host."
Hathaway won an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2013 for her take as Fantine in "Les Miserables." This will be Harris' first time hosting the Oscars, but has also hosted the Tony Awards in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2013 and the Emmy Awards in 2009.
